About Us

 I am currently in my 29th year in education and am proud to be serving my fifth year as principal of Dug Gap Elementary. Dug Gap is a very special place to me, and I truly love our school community, including our dedicated teachers, supportive staff, and amazing students. One of the greatest joys of my work is watching children learn, grow, and gain confidence as they progress through their elementary years. I am honored to be part of their journey and to help create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can succeed.  

I am honored and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Dug Gap Elementary. As a proud product of Whitfield County Schools, it truly means the world to me to give back to a community that has given so much to me. I spent nine years in the classroom, and this year marks my first year as an assistant principal, an opportunity I feel incredibly blessed to have, especially at such a wonderful school like Dug Gap.

I am looking forward to getting to know our amazing teachers, students, and families and working together to support student growth and success. Building strong relationships and fostering a positive school culture are very important to me.

In my personal life, I have been happily married for 10 years. I have a 2 year old boy named Lionel, and our family is excited to be expecting our second baby. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, dancing, getting in the pool, and traveling.
